The digestive or thoracic belt is a support for the post-operative follow-up after a digestive, cardiac or thoracic surgery, or to compensate for any temporary deficiency of the abdominal wall without pathological character (post-partum, post-operative condition).<\/p>\n

It allows to exert a uniform and quantified pressure on the whole treated area.<\/p>\n

It is intended to provide support to the abdominal or thoracic wall for analgesic purposes. It prevents post-operative edema and facilitates healing.<\/p>\n

In the case of ostomates (after colostomy, ileostomy\u2026), it ensures a perfect support all around the ostomy pouch. It is essential to carry out a preliminary test of the belt: visualize the exact location of the stoma and delimit precisely with a pencil on the breastplate. The pattern must be done by our services or by a health professional.<\/p>\n

For optimal effectiveness, the application of the digestive or thoracic belt is done immediately after the operation. The duration of application depends on the medical prescription.<\/p>\n

Machine wash at 30\u00b0C maximum with a natural soap-based detergent. Do not use a tumble dryer. It is recommended to wash the garment before wearing it for the first time.<\/em><\/p>\n
